Who we are
Karar App ("KARAR", "we") provides a technology platform for drafting rental / leave-and-license agreements and facilitating eSign and related services in India. This policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it. It is not legal advice.
Information we collect
When you create an account we collect your email address (used to send a one-time login code) and a name. You may also add a phone number. When you create an agreement we store the details you enter (property, owner and tenant information, photographs, and identity details such as PAN or last four digits of Aadhaar where you provide them). We store payment records (amount, status, Razorpay identifiers) when you pay. We store agreement PDFs and eSign certificates when those are generated.
How we use it
We use this information to create and maintain your account, send login codes, generate agreements, process payments, send documents for Aadhaar eSign, and provide customer support. We do not sell your personal data.
Who we share it with
We use service providers to operate the App: email delivery (Resend), payments (Razorpay), electronic signature (Zoho Sign / licensed eSign providers), file storage, and hosting. Those providers process data only to provide their service to us. Stamp-duty or eStamp portals may receive details required for stamping when you use that feature.
Account deletion and what we keep
You can delete your account from Profile in the App. We then delete your login details (email, name, phone), unused verification codes, and unpublished draft agreements, and we sign you out. We keep signed or paid agreements, PDFs, certificates, and payment records because they are legal and payment documents and may involve other parties. After deletion you cannot access those files in the App. Other signers may still have copies sent to them during signing. To request deletion you can also email support@kararapp.com.
